Prabowo Subianto, President-elect and Chairman of the Gerindra Party, congratulated the Labor Party on its 3rd anniversary through a video message. In the video shown at the ‘3rd Anniversary of the Labor Party’ event in Jakarta, Prabowo apologized for not being able to attend in person due to prior commitments.
He expressed his longstanding commitment to fighting for the rights and welfare of laborers, farmers, fishermen, and all Indonesian citizens, especially those who are yet to fully benefit from prosperity. Prabowo highlighted his years of advocacy for economic justice alongside various farmer organizations.
Prabowo emphasized his advocacy for an economic system based on Pancasila and family values, rather than a capitalist or neoliberal economy that goes against the principles of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. He called for unity among the Indonesian people in building a progressive nation and emphasized the importance of managing the nation’s wealth effectively and combating corruption to achieve development.
