Prabowo Subianto, who has been elected as the President of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term, is currently focused on preparing for his upcoming inauguration on October 20, 2024. In order to ensure a smooth transition and immediate action, Prabowo is studying the nation’s issues and engaging with various stakeholders to develop strategic plans for the country.
During a speech at the halal bihalal event of the Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU), Prabowo mentioned his efforts to avoid any delays or wasted time after assuming office. He expressed gratitude towards President Joko Widodo for his assistance and attention in this preparation process, noting that their relationship has grown closer.
Prabowo also shared how Jokowi has guided him in making official visits to countries such as China, Japan, and soon the Middle East. These visits are part of the preparation to take on the responsibilities of the presidency and to start working effectively from day one.
