Prabowo Subianto, the Chairman of the Gerindra Party and the president-elect for the 2024-2029 period, attended the 65th birthday celebration of Siti Hediati Hariyadi, also known as Titiek Soeharto. The event was held at her residence on Jl. Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Sunday evening (14/4).
Prabowo arrived at 8:00 PM WIB, wearing a long-sleeved batik shirt with brown and black motifs. He was warmly welcomed by his only child, Ragowo Hediprasetyo or Didit, and Ahmad Muzani, the General Secretary of the Gerindra Party and Vice Chairman of the MPR RI.
The celebration was simple, with a tumpeng cutting ceremony. Titiek expressed her gratitude to her family and friends for attending and hoped to continue being useful to the community.
During the tumpeng cutting, Titiek wanted to give the first slice to Prabowo, but he suggested giving it to her sister, Siti Hardijanti Rukmana or Tutut Soeharto, first. Titiek then gave the second slice to Prabowo, congratulating her on her efforts in Yogyakarta and thanking everyone present.
Prabowo shared moments from the celebration on his Instagram page @prabowo, praying for Titiek’s continued protection and blessings for her service to the Nation and State.
The event ended with a photo of Prabowo, Titiek, and Didit. Prabowo also took the time to greet and chat with guests like Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Roesan P Roeslani, AM Hendropriyono, Maia Estianty, Deddy Corbuzier, and others.
