Prabowo Subianto accompanied former President Joko Widodo and Iriana Jokowi to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta on Sunday afternoon. They were preparing to return to Solo after the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Inauguration Ceremony for the 2024–2029 term. Prabowo escorted Jokowi in a convoy that included the Indonesian-made Maung Garuda vehicle. He accompanied Jokowi to board the TNI AU Boeing B737 A7309 for his journey back to Solo.
Jokowi expressed his hopes and aspirations for Indonesia to Prabowo, who reciprocated the sentiment with well-wishes. Prabowo acknowledged the immense responsibility he now carries and expressed gratitude for Jokowi’s encouragement.
After seeing off Jokowi, Prabowo returned to the Presidential Palace to resume his official duties.
