President Prabowo Subianto’s Budget Priorities in Book II of the 2025 State Budget

Prioritizing Budget for Different Sectors:

I. Education Sector Budget Priorities:
1. Improve access to education.
2. Provide educational facilities and infrastructure.
3. Offer educational assistance.
4. Enhance the quality of education.
5. Strengthen link and match strategies with the industrial world.
6. Provide nutritious meals for students at all levels.

II. Health Sector Budget Priorities:
1. Provide nutritious meals for pregnant/breastfeeding women and toddlers.
2. Accelerate the reduction of stunting.
3. Strengthen the National Health Insurance Program (JKN).
4. Improve access, quality, and availability of health services.
5. Enhance inter-agency synergy and local government roles.
6. Increase health human resources.
7. Strengthen the independence of the pharmaceutical industry.

III. Social Protection Budget Priorities:
1. Improve targeting of social protection programs.
2. Strengthen convergence of programs.
3. Enhance program design and implementation.
4. Provide lifelong social protection.
5. Improve adaptive social protection schemes.

IV. Infrastructure Budget Priorities:
– Increase production capacity for economic competitiveness and growth.
– Develop infrastructure for economic transformation.

V. Food Security Budget Priorities:
1. Increase food production for self-sufficiency.
2. Improve healthy food consumption.
3. Enhance distribution and agricultural infrastructure.
4. Strengthen coordination between central and local governments.
5. Enhance national food reserves and community food barns.
6. Support farming enterprises.

VI. Industrial Downstreaming Budget Priorities:
– Create value and job opportunities through industrial downstreaming.

VII. Investment Strengthening Budget Priorities:
– Strengthen foreign investment and cooperation for industrial development.

VIII. Gender Mainstreaming Development Budget Priorities:
– Implement Gender Mainstreaming Strategy in different sectors.
