Prabowo Subianto, the 15th Kopassus Commander, was honored by soldiers of the Special Forces Command (Kopassus) with a performance of the song ‘Ksatria Kusuma Bangsa’ during the peak ceremony of the 72nd Anniversary of Kopassus. The live performance by 11 soldiers took place at the Kopassus Headquarters Field in Cijantung on Tuesday, April 30th.
The song was accompanied by a video tron showcasing Prabowo in various stages of his life, from his early days as a soldier to his current role as the Minister of Defense of Indonesia. ‘Ksatria Kusuma Bangsa’ has been a notable song for Kopassus, winning awards in various competitions, including first place in the Persit Central level singing competition in 2018 and the Army Adjutant General’s (Ajenad) singing competition.
General Agus Subiyanto expressed his respect and pride for the veteran elders who have contributed to making Kopassus the formidable force it is today. In recognition of the soldiers’ performance, Prabowo presented a commemorative pin to each of the 11 soldiers involved as a token of appreciation.
